1.) How long does it take to produce the wall stickers?
It usually takes a few days to produce, but it depends on which day of the week you order. We dispatch towards the end of the week so if you order before Tuesday afternoon, it usually gets dispatched that week. Click here for more info on delivery timing.
2.) You don't have the colour combinations I need?
The wall stickers come in standard bright colours and we keep stock of some of the most popular colour choices. We do offer other colour combinations and variations, but they carry a surcharge, which means that we either need to print them full colour or we do a special run for you. Should you require a specific colour, choose Custom Colour in the product colour choice dropdown menu and specify your colour under special instructions. You are welcome to send us a colour swatch. 3.) Can I exchange or change the colour of our free gifts?
Unfortunately not, the free gifts are produced on the same sheet as your order so when we produce your order, we produce the free gifts at the same time. Which means that we cannot exchange them for other gifts or do them in any special colour- unless you would like to do a special run, which will carry a surcharge. Each product specifies which colour option the free gifts come.
4.) Do you do custom wall stickers?
We do not offer custom stickers in the sense of starting from scratch as the design costs are very high. We do, however, offer customization on our standard range, so if you would like a wall sticker smaller or larger etc.
5.) Do you have a Showroom and Can I collect my order?
Sorry, we are a complete online store so don’t have a showroom. The stickers are high quality and you can read real real customer testimonials on our website, also check our Facebook Page for photos of real completed artwork. The stickers look just like the photos on each product page and we have added as much information as possible on each one like size etc, so you know exactly what you are getting.

WALL STICKERS
Q: What is a Wall Sticker?
Wall Stickers is a general term that applies to virtually all sticky wall decor. Some people refer to wall stickers as wall decals, wall graphics, wall art, or even wall tattoos.
Q: What are Wall Stickers made from and are they high quality?
They are made from an ultra-thin, glossy, self-adhesive vinyl material. Wall Stickers are extremely durable and made to last for years, but are still flexible enough to be applied to a variety of surfaces.
They are very high quality and have an ISO-9001 certification.
Q: Are your Wall Stickers removable?
Yes! They are specifically made for temporary wall décor so when you are ready for a change; you can simply remove them. Instructions are included with your order for removing your wall sticker, click here for full instructions. They are, however, not re-usable.
Q: How do you remove Wall Stickers?
Removing your temporary wall stickers is easy. Peel up an edge with your fingernail and slowly peel the decal off the wall. If they have been there for a number of years or to a less porous surface like glass, we recommend that you use a hairdryer (set on low heat) to warm the decal, this releases the adhesive and makes it even easier to peel off. Please be extra careful when removing wall stickers, rather peel downwards flush with wall than pulling away from the wall. You may need to use a soapy solution to get rid of any excess glue.
Q: How long will the Wall Stickers stay up?
Our wall stickers can easily last up to 2 - 3 years indoors. Try to them away from direct sunlight as heat can release the adhesive and can cause the stickers to peel up. Outdoors, they can last up to 1 - 2 years. Temporary décor at it’s best!
Q: Are your Wall Stickers reusable and repositionable?
As much as they are removable, unfortunately, they are NOT reusable or repositionable. The material is such that they can only be used once. We include a practice decal with every order to help you become a pro before sticking the real thing.
Q: Can Wall Stickers be used for surfaces, other than walls?
Yes! As much as this is contradictory to their name, they can be used on a variety of surfaces. They work best on smooth, dry and clean surfaces like walls, but work just as well on other surfaces like: glass (great for sliding doors, windows, shower doors on outside etc.), mirrors, bathroom/kitchen tiles (not on grouting), ceilings, fridges, washing machines, sealed concrete floors, smooth metal, tile, plastic surfaces, finished wood furniture, laptops and even cars! Think clean, flat and smooth surfaces. Do not place wall stickers on rugs, fabrics, clothing, or any other textiles. Textile fibres may stick to the adhesive and cause it to become ineffective.
Q: Are Wall Stickers suitable for textured walls and surfaces?
No, Wall Stickers are NOT suitable for rough and bumpy surfaces (even walls) - think clean and smooth. The surface needs to be completely flat and smooth and clean (no dust or dirt). A good gauge is: imagine that “clear sticky stuff you used to cover your school books in” – if that will work, then it should work. Examples of surfaces that are not suitable are: face brick, any type of texture, cinder block (or other porous surfaces),”orange peel” or textured walls, wallpaper and delicate surfaces. If you're unsure if our wall stickers will work, it’s always best to test with your practice sticker in an inconspicuous area and see if it works. Alternatively, send us an e-mail and in some cases, we may be able to send you a sample to test before you make a purchase.
Q: Will Wall Stickers remove paint from my walls?
We've designed Wall Stickers to be completely safe for painted walls; which means that they will not peel the paint, or damage other surfaces like sealed wood, plastic, or metal. Just a note that in very some cases, depending on the age or condition of the painted surface underneath, we cannot say across the board that some paint flecking will not occur. You may notice paint flecks on the back of the decals when removed and some minor paint touch up may be required. For freshly painted walls, allow 2 weeks for the paint to cure. We know... it takes patience, but it's better than applying to a wet wall. Also, to protect your walls - be extra careful when removing wall stickers, rather peel downwards flush with wall than pulling away from the wall.
Q: Are Wall Stickers safe for kids?
Absolutely. Our products are tested against the highest safety standards, and are completely non-toxic. They do not contain harmful chemicals like phthalates or lead. They are 100% non-toxic, our wall stickers are completely safe for children to play or decorate with.
Q: Do your Wall Stickers smell?
Occasionally, when you open a package of our wall decals, you may detect a slight "vinyl/plastic-y" smell. The smell will usually go away in a matter of minutes, but you can always speed up the process by placing the sheets outdoors in the fresh air, or in a well-ventilated room.
Q: How do I clean my wall stickers?
If the decals are dirty, they can be cleaned with a damp rag and a mild soap. Do not spray wall stickers with any chemicals, cleaners, or fragrances.
Q: Can your wall stickers stand extreme temperatures?
Wall Stickers are manufactured to withstand mild changes in heat and cold from sunlight. Officially, they can stand temperatures from -5 to 50 degrees centigrade but high heat or cold will lessen the life span of the wall stickers and can compromise the adhesive and cause stickers to peel, rip, fall off, or damage the surfaces on which they have been applied. Do not place wall stickers in direct sunlight or position them on temperature items like a toaster, oven, kettle, braai, hairdryer etc. Do not place items that are decorated with wall stickers in a dishwater, oven, or microwave!
Q: Can you put wall stickers in the bathroom?
Absolutely, just not under running water like inside a shower/in the bath etc. You can stick wall stickers to the walls, tiles and even - the toilet! Wall stickers will not adhere to the grouting between the tiles.

Yes, but only on certain designs - simply choose "mirror" in the options on the product page. Some products only have certain elements mirrored, like branches and not flowers etc.

Q: How do I check the status of my order?
You will receive an email with a copy of your order, you will then get another one stating that your order has been confirmed (i.e. we have your order and payment) and it is going into production. You get another email once your order is dispatched with either the courier waybill no, post office tracking number or the collection address.

Q: Can I collect from your office?
Yes, you can collect your order, our dispatch is in Strubensvalley, Roodepoort. Click here for more info (at bottom of page).
Q: What is I gave you an incorrect address or the no-one was home when the courier delivered?
If we have not dispatched your order yet, you can change your address (i.e. you will receive an email once we have dispatched), please email us and we will respond confirming we have the new address. Once orders have been dispatched, there is no changing the address. If/when your order is returned to us, we will then need to charge you an additional fee for re-delivery.
Q: I haven’t received my order in South Africa yet and it has been over a week since you dispatched it?
First thing, Log-onto the South African Post Office website, call SAPO tracking tollfree (0860 111 502) or contact your local branch to track your delivery. On average, give them 2-5 working days for delivery. Please email us and if you have any problems with this or cant find your order.
If it was a courier delivery, please log onto www.thecourierguy.co.za to track your order.
PAYMENT
Q: Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards as well as EFT (electronic funds transfer) or a cash deposit from South African Bank Accounts. We also offer payments via Paypal.
Q: Do you accept PayPal?
Yes! This is mostly for overseas orders. Choose Paypal as your payment method and we will send you a request for payment in USD (the main reason why this payment method is aimed at overseas orders – the conversion is never in our favour). Your order will be confirmed once we have received the e-mail from Paypal confirming the payment. If you use a different email address for your Paypal account or are in a different time zone and wish to pay right away, please use the conversion rate on www.coinmill.com from ZAR order total to USD and send us the Paypal payment to: info@stickythings.co.za from your Paypal account. Please contact us should you have any questions.
Q: Are the credit card transactions safe on your website?
We use an reputable third party, PayFast, as our payment gateway. That means that no credit card transactions are done on our website. This is to protect you as well as us. We do not have access to your credit card information at all. You will be redirected to www.payfast.co.za after you place your order and will be asked for your credit card information. Once the transaction has successfully gone through, the order will be sent to us and you.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Q: Can my order be changed or cancelled once it has been placed?
You need to cancel your order within 12 hours of ordering via email info@stickythings.co.za. After this period, orders cannot be cancelled as it will already be in production. Cancellation has to be done via e-mail within 12 hours and will be confirmed by our client services and any costs (i.e. credit card fees or any other fees that we have incurred will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.
Q: How long will it take for my credit card to be credited if I cancel my order?
If you cancel your order, we will be in touch with you regarding how long it takes. EFT's will only be refunded once it has reflected in our account minus bank charges.
Q: What if an item is out of stock?
This is very unusual as your order is produced on order. The provision of goods and services is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, the provider will refund the client in full within 7 days. The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider's standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions.
Q: What is your return policy?
Our returns policy is only valid for returns within the Republic of South Africa. All returns and exchanges must be shipped back using a traceable and insured shipping method and must be paid for by the customer. All international orders are not valid or returns or refunds.
We know you are going to be happy with the quality of the wall stickers. Should you not be, please e-mail info@stickythings.co.za within 24 hours of receipt of your goods. You may be required to return your item to us.
Q: What if my order arrived damaged?
We guarantee that your order was in perfect condition when it was dispatched. Your artwork is packed in protective cardboard tubes, so even if they get a little battered along the way, they still arrive in perfect condition. Even if the tube gets damaged, the artwork is still easily usable. Should this not be the case (or your order is lost) and as much as we do not take responsibility for items in transit; we are open to helping you if you let us know via email info@stickythings.co.za within 24 hours of receipt. You will be required to return your damaged item to us.
